All students will need to have completed the online eLearning portion of this course. Use the link to complete the online Heartsaver ® First Aid CPR AED Online portion. Cost is $20.50. Students should print out and bring proof of having successfully completed the online portion of the course with them to the scheduled Skills Session with an AHA instructor.

After completing the eLearning component, students will attend a structured Instructor-led course that focuses on the hands-on skills practice and skills testing. Students must attend the hands-on skills portion of the course that is required for final completion and for issuance of a valid Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED Certification Card. During the Skills Session, students will practice First Aid/CPR and check-off on the manikins. The required barrier device and training kit is provided for the student to use during training and keep following the class. The cost of the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED Skills Session is $60.00.

Intended Students: Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer's efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need first aid training. Not intended for healthcare professionals.
